hey I'm wondering if you can get caught by a camera for speeding when the camera is in a zone where roadworks are going on? reduced to 30 i think an it might of been a 50 road normally...

i would say yes, all the roadwork round ours have 'police speed check' signs all over them, probably cos when they drop the speed limit really low for the works its easy to catch people. MPH = £££££

He could loose his job for that, dunno if hes still got anymore points, think he may have got some in london for being stuck in a box junction as someone blocked him an the lights changed(he drives big car transporter).

In peterborough, they are doing some road widening on a main dual carriageway. They dropped the limit to 40mph and stuck up a couple of cameras. I've been past a couple of times and seen it flash people bombing along!
