As above, i bought to put my standard VW key in a while back, awesome to flip your VW key out of a merc key Just never got round to it! Really easy to convert.

any ideas to how easy to fit the key to the flip key?

i found a guide on uk polos.net but that only shows how to convert to vw flip key! dont no if itll be different but involves chopping up you are old key and shaping with grinder to fit!! iv just bought a 3 button vw one of ebay to do the mod myself!

Yreah, very simple

Whack out a pin, cut your key to the same length.. then sand or file to the shape! done!

I've found a place which sells blank ah key blades for flip key so no modding reqd jus need new one cutting at any key cutting place! search on yankee ebay should find one

I've got a Bentley flip key for my lupo and it was easy to do

bought a blank from a locksmith and had it cut then took the sensor outta my lupo key and chucked it in

took about 25 minutes to do!!

and the Merc key is a steal at £17
