Noticed this noise on friday whilst on route to silverstone. More plainly audible pulling away from stationary and gets faster with speed BUT not audible if moving at 60mph!

Also does it going round corners (right ones to be precise) so i'm starting to believe its a wheel bearing. Just wondered with my very vague description if anyone else had any ideas before i start stripping the hub!

had the same with mine but it was also a grinding noise id check the wheel bolts are tight first then go for a pair of bearings on the rear they only cost bout a tenner each and i did em in an hour with time for 2 tabs an all just get some good grease for em

Jacked the car up to find 2 bolts loose whilst the other 2 were mega tight! Did emup and alls well now. Now to start on the other noises. Cheers for the help folks.

shouldnt laugh really, changed my brake pads a couple of days ago and a couple of the bolts were far from tight

Aye, when i lowered my rear more the other week i managed to drive about 10 miles with 8 finger-tight wheel nuts....

We've all (mostly) done it!
