I've finally found a cheap daily to replace the GTi. A 1 litre Polo Coupe Boulevard in Framboise Red . She's pretty tidy with only a couple of spots of rust, nothing major really, and she goes really well considering (especially if you're going downhill with the wind behind you )

In the time honoured tradition I have already named her, Poppy The Pink Peril.

Iv never seen such ugly seats in a mk3 they look like a cushion your granny would give you. Reminds me of the car i bought my girlfriend. Is this rocking the 4 gear box aswell?

Yeah, it's getting some new seats as they are well uncomfortable, but such a funky colour. And yes it's the 4 speed hahahahaha

Liz the mascot is in Geoffrey, he loves it so much doesn't want Poppy to have it. I did think of you when I saw the 8 in the number plate. I think she'll be a good one for me :-D

Spaniel: We've gone for the Bright Pink for the girls and Bright Green for the boys, you'd laugh your head off if you could see the drive with them sat side by side

framboise red i simply cannot get excited about! i hate the fact it is in sort of limbo between red and pink, i think it just looks unloved and needs polishing! i want to like it but just cant

I'm thinking of a 60/40 H&R kit, but really don't have a clue what rims to put on her yet, I'm thinking of 14's though.

I've already got swapped the ruuuuubbbbbbiiiiiissssshhhhhhh colour coded grill for a de-badged one and am on the lookout for another set of the non-remote adjustable mirrors for her. Also got some clear indicators to go on later (if it ever stops raining) and I'm keeping my eye open for some smoked side repeaters, she'll look sweet then

Yeah it is a bit difficult but I'm only really going to do what I said above (oh and a new steering wheel & seats) so I think she'll look good, just need to decide on a set of rims to make her uber pimp now :-D

Yeah that's what she's gonna have on her, got a set on one of our other Mk3's and the ride is spot on :-)

Paintwork isn't perfect by any stretch but with a bit of loving she'll be perfect in no time.
