Can anyone help me, basically I just want to get a bit lower, but I'm running 194/45/15s 40mm I've heard will catch a little bit and I'm gonna be having lots of people in my car etc, so I want some 30mm springs but cant seem to find any,

Can anyone help me, link or anything. Had a dab through google but only found 40mm,

tbh you wont notice much at all from 40mm never mind 30...

40mm makes a good difference on a 15" wheel. Del had a 40mm Koni kit with Mk5 Polo GTi wheels and it was fine unless you had 4+ people in the car...but why would you want that many people in a Mk3 1.0? It wouldn't even move... The 40mm kit and 15's looked good on Del's old GT from most angles.

Could always run 13" or 14" wheels and a 40 or 60mm suspension kit. Good looking combination and no issues with rubbing etc. I had 5 in the GT one night (only time I've had more than 3) and it was fine on 14x6J with a 60mm front/40mm rear H&R Cup Kit. I believe they make a 35mm kit called H&R Cup "comfort," only seen it on one website though.

I'm not a fan of 15's, more trouble than they are worth and only look good 75% of the time.

I think its either, or both, gt or g40 that had 30-35mm lower springs?

Just G40, but it think they give about a 25mm drop

40mm drop with 15inch wheels with 165/50/15 tyres = Big arch Gap ...

40mm Drop with 195/45/15 tyres = Better but scrubs slightly with people in back ..

Umm tav it wasnt 'fine', the underside of your car was bouncing off the deck

But it didnt rub at all :p

dropped 40 mm on 6.5j 15s et20 running 165/50s had to trim rear drive side arch a little

80mm on narrower 6j wide 15s et38 running 165/50s no scrubbing
