i tryed posting this topic in the mk4 bit but it wouldny let me so i'm just going to post it here instead.

slowly but surely doing up my wee car, so heres some pics of how it was when i first got it:

and heres some of what I've done to it so far:

also has an induction kit in there I've jsut not got a pic of it!

not done a hellish amount to it to make it look really differt but heres everything i have done:

debadged the rear

destriped te doors

painted the front VW badge black

white center consol

new headlight (90% brighter) and sidelight bulbs (blue tint)

mk2 golf gti wheels

kenwood cd player

blue LEDs on the pcd

checkerd interior mirror

zorst system

coilovers

16v side indicators

taken theback seats out (roll cage I'm thinkin with smoothed out back)

K&N induction kit with a pipercross breather

de-wiperd the rear

hmm think thats about it so far =]

i'm proud of it so far tbh well lovin it, my pride and joy!

looks like a breather to me not sure on the centre console or mirror but very differant

hmm no to sure where it is i know its a place near lochgelly!

and yeah it is a breather filter but asi said theres an induction kit there to but i only got a pic of the breather, but also yeah I'm not sure on the white center console to... love the mirror tho

just out of curiosity mate how did you do that interior mirror is it sticky on stuffz?

looking good, i have the same cd player as you... i think!

haha i done the mirror a really stupid way...

i got sparky tape n made strips of tape all the way along it just in one direction tho and then kept mesuring out 18mm squares because thas the thickness of the tape, then cut them all out leavin behinde the patern ready for spray! :)

nice mate. duno about the centre console but the mirror is cool. i've mine done the same. my updates should be up soon

Looking good, wheels are nice and different to the usual wide wheels you see on Mk4's

Mouse GTI, yeah forsure! not sure if I'm going dished or not i do love the dished look... but also like the look I've got! I've got no idea what it is about the mk2 golf gti wheels but to me they jsut look amazingly cool suit polos so well to.

scottpolo2001, thanks again man! theres going to be loads of little checkerd suprises for use all to see =P not sure when but there will be eventully!

and on the plus time i will hopefully have a full time job soon... sooo loads of moneys for bits :D cheesin!!! lol

that mirror is pimp as.... i am gonna have to do something like tnat myself!

word of advice to those of u wanting to do this to, the bit the mirrors attached to twists off the window so make sure u do so or u'll do what i done... cracked my wind screen lol

right I've decided, well decided agesago i was going for a checkerd theme but I'm gonna make it like a slap styled checkerd theme by that i mean its not all neat squares like theres abit of white paint run coming off onto the black i think it looks fairly cool!
