Went for a wee drive tonight after the local VW meet...rear seat passenger in this MTM tuned RS6. Everything I hate in a car....big + heavy + automatic...but jeepers could not fail to be impressed by the sheer grunt of this thing! Apparently you can get a fridge and a washing machine in the back...

:nod: pimp pimp, for me the love is with the powerful estates, realy fancy a 20vt powered A4 estate but just cant afford one ! Love the look of that though, very simple but effective

RS6s are awesome.

very good cars but i could think of better cars to buy for the cash ..

How dare you.

Can i ask what the MTM bit means?? I saw it on an S3 the other day.

They are 450hp as standard. I managed to get the Traction Control light to come on before moving once at work!

Like?

Tav is that Pau1s?

It's very loud!

Was lucky enough to borrow an S6 for a weekend, and that was insane, can only imagine what this must be like

The MTM supercharged RS4 = the shit

Can't knock an RS6 either :D

That RS6 rocks!

Tav, I know what you mean about big, heavy automatic cars being pretty much boring drivers cars - I totally agree.

There are loads of hugely powerful and extremely fast cars out there you can buy - money pending of course. Why is it they are virtually all so dull to drive? Sitting in a luxurious, squidgy, leather clad interiors with big, wide, fat heavy bodywork and electric everything you are so far removed from the driving experience its unbelievable.

Cars like the Aston Martin DB9 and latest BMW M3/M5 all have fantastic engines and chassis etc but are about as much fun to actually drive as a double decker bus. Unless you are like most of their owners who just want people to look at them and think they are cool.

If you want real driving pleasure and fun behind the wheel of a modern car, get yourself a Lotus Elise/Exige etc.

For me modern cars are all about being reasonably safe and comfortable transport and little else.

If I want fun, I'd go for an old and if possible staid looking car (hence my mk2 Breadvan) and make it as unreasonably fast as possible!

Its not all about outright speed, its about the fun you have doing it.

For instance;

Aston Martin DB9 at 140 mph = BORING. Whisper quiet - all too easy.

1994 VW Polo G40 (181BHP) at 120mph = hold on tight - laugh all the way!

G40.

I got to hoon around in an RS6+ the other week

Limited edition version with more power, black wheels etc 8-)

Phenomenal performance, it's like one big surge of torque

I'd love one but I wouldn't fancy paying to run the thing

There's no hope for those motoring enthusiasts who are trying to show environmental sensitivity, and that we can use cars more efficiently than buses, when you've got people driving around in penis-extensions like that.

It looks like a hearse, but i wouldnt be seen dead in it.

The oil will run out regardless. Might as well enjoy it while we can tbfh

s2's ftw!

thats pretty impressive that...bit of a bargain at 19k if you ask me lol

Yeah, but... as penis extensions go, you gotta admit it's pretty cool!

Love the RS6 soo much power wish i could afford to buy or run one.
