Custom 6n2 exhaust

Featured Replies

Item:

Custom made backbox

Description/Condition:

It has twin oval tailpipes and is made from the finest grade of steel that can be used. However there are some small scuffs and scratches on the bottom of the tailpipes where it has got a little bit too intimate with speedbumps. It has been designed to hang below the rear bumper, so no need to cut the bumper. From what i remember when it was fitted to my car, when just going along at medium rev's there was a deep burble, but when you accelerated hard it became louder and when idleing it had a nice note and you knew it was there.

What it will fit:

I guess any 6n2 (mk5) polo, and possibly MK4's but dont hold me responsible if it doesn't

Location:

South Birmingham B48

Additional Information:

I bought this exhaust from Maxim off clubpolo at the beginning of last summer, he had it made at Torque Exhausts (www.torque-exhausts.com) for his old polo, 1.4 8v. I fitted to my 1.0 8v last summer but only had it fitted til september and it has been in storage ever since, there was a difference in the size of diameter of the pipe going into the backbox, so i had to get a reducer pipe fitted, which worked a treat.

Price:

ideally i would like £100 and collection from B48 although i will consider sensible offers.

Pictures:

On the car. (sorry for the poor pictures, these were the best i could find)
