ok so last night in the rain my little brothers friend [my friend aswell as we get blazed together] was round and his ped was on its stand next to my GT

when simon gets round he finds the ped leaning against my car so its either been a] blown off its stand? or b] been pushed over [but i find this unlikely]

its left a dent that hasnt broken the paint but its like an almost horizontal diagonal dent running the legnth of the rear quarter

how hard would this be to fix?

i dont know what to do as nobodies to blame but i cant help thinking he should of put his ped further away from my car on the drive but then i guess it was unexpected

I'm just so frustrated as i know i have no money to fix it, hes only 16 and more than likely wont have money to fix it, and I'm loosing my patience with the car as when one thing is sorted another fucks up

grrrrr

argh gutted man! yeah should have put hte ped away from the car, I'm guessing it wont be an expensive job for a body shop to do, only be a small pannel beating from the inside :S

but still money :S

being skint is pants, we should all win the lottery

it's worth trying one of them "Dent Wizard" people

I feel for you, always gutting when something like that happens.

You maybe able to get your hand in the inner quarter if you take off your rear door cards and see if it will pop out, luck maybe on your side :-)

If it makes you feel any better picture this;.......... MK2 Jetta, just servicing it, finished all the work, was running a treat & I slammed the bonnet shut; only to realise that I had left a ratchet with socket pointing up on the air box = perfect socket inprint on the bonnet outwards.... I felt sick!!!

Stick with it fella, I know you want to ;)

argh man! lol id be pissed

i got a ped, had it for 12 months and has never even wobled on its stand so i wudnt put it past someone pushed it mate

if the paint isnt broke you could give it a little push from inside, see if it makes it any better. Otherwise, let it be and save up for a repair later. your probably right that you cant really give out blame, its just one fo those things that happens.

its annoying all the same like.

btw Hoppy- OUUUUCH!
