Has anyone seen this 'super' fuel at any of the BP forecourts?

Not that it will make a bit of difference to any of my cars, i'll still be using 95, but anyone with a jap import might want to give it a try....

Well mine runs a darn sight better on 99 than 95,so i'll be looking out for it.

Maybe because their the bastards that always put their prices up first and round by me they are always about 3p/litre more expensive than anyone else

You ever considered that they are more expensive because they supplied a better quality product?

They pull the prices up and enjoy record profits. Their stations seem to be revamped on an almost annual basis - why?

Its allegedly a better fuel? No car I've ever driven runs better on BP than anyone elses.

I just want petrol at a reasonable price,no bullshit,and as many of their competitors offer this,why dont they? I dont see BP offering anything unusual yet.

I always seem to go to Texaco for some odd reason, think it probably has something to do with a toy Sierra RS 500 Cosworth i had as a kid with Texaco stickers all over it, loved that thing :-D

With petrol prices how they are at the moment I'm not sure i could really justify putting higher octane fuel in something as slow as a 1.4 8v.

been around for awhile.. u have to pay up front b4 u fill. used to use it in my minimoto on race day..lol.

most cars aint setup to run on that RON n for day to day drivin is it really worth the extra money??

I've used all sorts of fuels from the different companies and the thing that makes mine run best is 95RON Sainsbury's fuel. Dunno why or how, but it seems to run really nice on that stuff and return better MPG. Not massive amount, but a noticeable amount.

texaco seems to be the most expensive more so than bp around here!? i usually go to shell because it is the cheapest in the area

I second the Sainsburys 95, i am confident i get better mpg, slightly but noticeable. O yeah worth a mention, the sainsburys around where I am are supplied by a bp depot lol.

The main reason i go to the Texaco 33hz mentions is because they have a pay-as-you-go jet wash.

when tesco ran out of 95 octance a few weeks back i put the 99 stuff in and it did about 20 more miles than it normally does on 10quid's worth, noticed no difference in performance tho. same driving styles etc and same routes to and from work.

maybe they water the 95 poverty spec stuff down lol

I believe BP has always provided Sainsbury's fuel. The only car i bothered to run on the optimax was my previous turbo, but for my other cars, no noticable difference really. Its supposed to have better cleaners, but then unless you take the engine apart regularly, it pretty difficult to confirm that.

exactly the only standard motor that adjusts its ecu + everything else is one of the japanese super bikes, apart from that... no point

I've used BP 102 in the skyline, i noticed a difference but not worth an extra few pound a litre difference!!!!

The BP in Egham stock the 102, and its scary whrn you fill up watching them ££ rack up

I mostly try and use Shell V Power in any car is use, most cars i use respond well to it :)
