and bad bits....

well you cant get a car with out them, so here goes.

the paint work can really really do from a proffesional detailing session, and as there as a few light laqure scratches, non of which can be seen after one layer of polish, but I'm icky, also means they'll deffo machine out.

stone chips, well what can i say, you cant drive a car 600+ miles a week and not get stone chips, but there isnt that many at all.

the alarm fob has packed in, which means now i have had to fit one of the original handles back in and use the key, it also means that i have had to "remove" the alamr from the ignition so as i can start to the car, dont worry, it only 4 wires that need re connecting under the steering wheel, but you need a working fob for the ignition, i will have this fixed ASAP as its pissing me off using the key lol

the gear box has a slight crunch into 3rd gear, and reverse sounds awful, I'm not sure wether the box is going or it just needs a really good oil change, as I've only done it once since I've owned it. i do know tho, that the gear box is only a few hours job, and they can be picked up for less £30, i have been driving the car like this for some time now, and it has no way affected the working of the car or the gear, and once engaged its fine, its just a tiny, initial crunch.

and finaly, the centre box will need replacing in the exhaust, it has has a new cat fitted around, 6 months ago, as i thought it was that, that was rattleing, but it wasnt, i then also replaced the read box for a brand new one hoping it was that, but no, it the one i didnt change its a sebring box from my old system, so it just needs replacing, the car sunds great even with the almost standard system fitted, and i get 38MPG on the motor way, so with a standard centre box, i would expect that to rise again.

the wheels COULD do from a re furbish, but its not essensial, as they do come up very well, there just a little stained from the milage i do.

why oh why oh why...

I've owned the car for over a year now, and its been wasome, the car is a rock, and has never let me down, its never broken down on me since I've owned it, apart from this alarm fob thing, which is an easy fix, and when it wouldnt start at gti international, because i had my bonnet open in the rain, and everything got wet lol,

I've serviced the car every 5 or 6 thousand miles as I'm a mechanic in the army, I've put so much time and effort into this car, but i have to let it go, I'm getting slightly bored of it, and i dont get to use it, its a show car, and i just dont get time to go to them, so i would like someone who does get the time, to enjoy my hard work, and maybe put their own twist on it.

I've also just bought a house, and the money would really help, not to mention, I'm going away for a few months in august and dont just want it sat there.

if the car sells, I've got all sorts to throw in with it, full face bra, sebring back box, not to mention most of, if not all of the spare parts i have remove or replaced.

you'll also have the joy of taking it to the shows with the new interior fitted, as i have only been to one show since I've fitted it.

ok, now i know i had it up for sale before, and looking back, it was a silly price, so I've done AOLT of thinking, and pricing up, and think £4999 is more than a fair price, please feel free to come at me with part ex's ect, all i can is no, but dont try and offer me stupid stuff please.

cheers all, jon boiiiii
