erm, you will be able to get insured, BUT not sure if it'l be under a grand, even with 1ync, if you declare mods it def wont be lol

worth trying specialised insurance companies, adrian flux, brentaker.....

am 20 and paying 920...1 years no claims at the start of the year, and 3 points to go along with, but that only put it up 100 quid. all mods declared too

2 years older tho :?

Try admiral. i got a quote on mine for 1250 in my name with 0ncb on a 16v

Just tried them Stebbi and i got 1777.40 on a standard GT with no modifications, it doesnt make sense at all.

That fully comp?

I think your missing the point here guys, other factors come into it too such as your location etc.

The reason insurance is so expensive for younger people is simple... you want to modify your car the insurance company assume your a boy racer whether it be true or not it wont change, I've been driving for years and insurance at a young age has always been expensive.

The best thing to do is learn the art of driving in a standard car that can take a few knocks without you being gutted about it and then move on to somthing more special later on :-D
