Each time I get a faster car.. in general I tend to drive more slowly?!

Some of the things people have said are shameful. The worst part is you say it like your proud!

Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

I thought that meself! Jeebus crisps! These are the sort of things you brag to your workmates, they laugh with you but say to themselves 'what a floppy-cock head!'

I'm with you guys on this 1.

And MK4man you need to go back to school and study english again.

Yes, it really IS idiot day. :|

Why has this bloody thread not been locked yet?

Or are we just trying to out the dumb?!

With the above post in mind I think it's time for:

IBTL-Crocodile.jpg

108mph in a 60 lol :-D

Are you mental  ....? Thats not big and it's not clever

Got to agree with you there mate...

Flaming nora, is this thread still going? If the mods aren't going to lock it, could they at least change the title to 'cockhead driver's bragging thread'?

I've never gone faster than 35mph

One day I was going 60mph on a 30 and ran over a small kid that was playing by the side of the road......needles to say there was blood everywhere and it was the kid's birthday.

Yeah you won't be proud of posting that on a thread would you? Excessive speeding at 30mph roads is in-excusable and just plain stupid. Speeding on an empty motorway/ dual carriageway is fine but come on; on residential roads? Are you lot on crack?

Yes i agree its time to lock this thread.

I created this thread to get some sort of idea of how lucky i was to get away with my speeding offence, turns out very lucky. I just wanted to compare the situation with other peoples, by no means did i want this to turn into whos got the biggest penis competition. The best posts are the ones that dont have anything to do with the police, or getting stopped etc. "HI I WAS DOIONG THE 2000MPKHM IN THE 20 ZONERS RAWR!" that sort of drivvle, thanks, real helpful...

On the night of the offence i convinced myself i would ignore the warning and carry on having 'fun' speeding. Turns out I'm not that stupid, I haven't exceeded the speed limit since the incident (bar 4-5 mph). My dad told me "if your smart enough, you'll learn from this warning, some people dont get warnings, they just get dead".

what did you expect when you created a thread entitled 'Maxiumum speeding offence you have got away with?', you asked the question

First post to set the tone, I would have thought people would read that and realise that speeding and not getting seen nor heard by the police is different to getting pulled over etc. Plus the thread title was not big enough to occupy 'Maxiumum speeding offence you have got away with? (got away with as in verbal communication with a police officer and let off, not got away with because was not seen)'dotcom

I drive at the limit in built up areas etc I have also been known to do the odd bit of speeding on dual carriage ways and motorways but who hasn't?

I don't find speeding to be big or clever, as part of our college course (public services) we had to go to the local fire station and sit through a talk called "drive to survive". It entails lots of stories, videos and pictures of things that have happened to people who were driving like idiots or because someone else was driving like an idiot. The worst bit was when a woman came in to talk about how a guy in a van killed her son because he was driving at 60+mph in a 30mph limit. Apart from the retarded chavs, who were pissing around through the whole thing, you couldn't find a person in that room that had dry eyes and this was a room full off fire fighters, police, ex army (our tutors) and public services and healthcare students. It's even worse when you went to the same school as the lad who died and travel via the same roads it happened on. When you see a grown woman break down in tears while she is talking you won't ever forget it.

If you want to know how effective the course is then let me put it this way, out of a class of 30 public service students (with 5 ex army tutors) not one of them wanted to go on the course again the following year.

some people really piss me off with there speeding actally, if anyone knows were the OKdinner is in bridgetown in cannock, i was driving down past there the other night and these fookin chavs in a nova and something else, didn't get a peroper look, came zoomin past, gotta be about 80 at least, thiswas in a 30, come right up behined me, anougthe car comin the other way and a scamera, so they get flashed by that as well.

man just really pissed me off, giving young drivers a bad name in turn givein us our high insurance and they could have easily gone into the back off me or the other driver, writin me car off and/or givin me serious injuries or death  .

rant over

And they'll get away with it,because the police traps are out on the motorway, raking it in from the general 80mph flow rate, and causing waves of braking whilst they're at it.

I got pulled over after racing back from a mates house to make the chippy before it closed as I was in the chippy 3 police meastro's pulled up outside, I got a lot of stick off the coppers sayin they saw me go but could'nt catch me one even asked what was under the bonnet told him standard 1043 realy race tunned 1300 but got away with a telling off.

After sellin the polo got a tunned capri commin down a empty m6 after a night out went passed 3 artics about 125mph a car between them pulls out, when I stopped and was asked how fast I was going told him 95 and he let me have that so got 3 points and a 40 pound at the time fine but got away with a ban.

As for speedin now it limited to on my bike, dont realy take it on motorways but in towns its the speed limit no more but on a roads and duel carigeways where conditions are right it see's 150 alot and rarly go's below 85

Lol @ Cannock.

I'm up Walsall and have just stopped going up 'Nock full stop. The amount of tw*ts is unreal.

A lad i know was parked up at Mca D's, and this local knob head was out in his dads Merc (50-something plate C class)..

Doing little burnouts while waiting in the queue to get round, slipped the brake and bumped the lads car in front, got out (4's up, lad in front was alone) knocked him out .. :|

I did about 40 through a 30 zone speed camera and got no letter or anything through the post, the camera didn't even flash.

Also gone past a parked police car on the M6 at about 110 but he didn't see me, and in my old boy racing days I was doing about 60 in a 30 zone with a police car parked on the opposite side of the road. He was reading a paper so he didn't see me.

They were the old days though before I calmed down, not bragging I got away with it at all, I'm just replying to the thread.

I admit though, I don't go 70 on the motorway, it seems safer to keep up with the traffic than to have people tailgating you.
