So you think them being rattled about in a box a bit is going to damage them but stopping a whole car from speeds of up to 70 mph isn't going to put them under more strain than that?

I understand its annoying when stuff isn't packed well, but I wouldn't have bothered complaining as there not going to be damaged. If anything I would have just told them that in future they should pack it up better because if it was a more delicate item it could have been broken easily.

Hmmmmm, I'm a picky sod, but in agreement with heartagram on this one, I would have just put 'em on. There is quite a dead weight in discs when they are boxed up.

My Black's arrived in similar condition to yours & all was well.

I usually rip open packages for my car anyways as i'm that excited about getting them on asap. Do you have any idea how hard brake disks have to be? They're constantly taking abuse and you think them sliding against cardboard is going to damage them? lol, stop being a pussy and hurry up and get them on the car!

I've got these fitted to mine, my box was slighty damaged but who cares i was to excited on getting them fitted and they look the bollocks once fitted, combined with predator fast road pads and a brake fluid change makes a big difference over oem brakes all i need now is goodridge stainless hosos :p

Weither they are damaged or not, is irrelevant. I have the right to return the goods if the packaging is damaged in this way.

It doesnt help when the MD is being a total cock about it also.

I agree the chances of major damage is small. But why should i have to take any risk putting them on when i have spent £££'s on it.

I would agree with you if the box was somehow relevant to the function of the product.

The discs will even change their look after 1 mile, so unless you were going to use the box somehow, maybe me just being silly really.
