Due to lack of time and money it is time to say goodbye to my little Polo. It needed a little love when originally purchased and the plan was to do all the mechanical upgrades and then follow on by tidying the bodywork. I have got as far as most of the mechanical work and have started some of the body (and hence patchy paint). I had decided to take it off the road to do the paint, but since then the tax and MOT have lapsed. I don't believe there are any major problems which would be an issue, but having no tax or insurance, and little time or enthusiasm means I can't get it done. Obviously the person picking it up will need to trailer it away.

Upgrades

14" BBS RA style alloys, Toyo Proxy 195/45/14, good tread

256mm brake upgrade using Audi parts with Raicam pads and Brembo plain disks

~20mm drop on 'Evo' shocks and springs (40mm kit for standard polo)

Debadged boot

Pitstop toothed belts

Charger rebuilt within last 1k with full rebuild in last 10k

3"/75mm inlet piping, charger inlet opened to match inlet collers. Other charger porting including outlet elbow.

Salzman adjustable top mounts

G-lader Site rollbar mounts, control arm bushes, rear beam mounts.

Braided brake hoses

Toad Cat1 alarm connected to remote boot release and central locking

Original mk3 fog lights

Custom pod replacing ashtray with boost and oil pressure gauge

Oil temp gauge

Oil cooler on 80 degree thermostat

Poloace Chip with 7100rpm rev limit

2" cat-back exhaust with 2 1/4" stainless tailpipe

Late spec tinted rear lights

Late spec clear indicators

Tinted side repeaters

Uprated light loom

New alternator

All solid brake lines replaced with copper

New (black) gearstick gaitor

Modified GT inlet with G60 throttle body and silicone elbow to attach to original pipework (mod incomplete)

Rear disc setup from mk2 Golf (not customized so parts may still be needed)

Original g40 Calipers and carriers

Spare door handles inc one for de-locking

Original centre console ashtray unit

Original charger inlet piping and airbox

Replacement stealth MDF rear shelf with 6x9 holes

Original non-tint rear lights, indicators and side repeaters

I realise I'm not going to get as much selling in this in this condition, but hopefullt someone will want to complete this project. For the same reason as I am selling in the first place (mainly time), I will not be breaking the car or getting it taxed/MOTed. I'm open to offers as I'm not really sure what a scruffy, but modded G40 is worth.
