Well looks like you know what you're doing with the filler, so sort that little bit of rust on the bonnet and slammmmmmmmmmm it!!

Nice work mate and welcome to the forum!! At the minute my mk3 is looking similar bodywork wise, its all bare steel/ filler/ primer/ paint or rust!! lol. Some sort of matt paintwork in mind?

Keep the paintwork as it is for extra rattyness and dump on its arse on steels.

what i wouldnt give for a grey mk2 polo squareback. your nuts to even think about ditching the original grey paint!

Matt is pretty sick, But I love shine, Starting to lose faith in the primer patches though to be honest, thinking of just taking a can of etch primer and blasting the entire panels in it until I've decided on a paintjob

Respray it the original colour, low profiles with a wee bit of stretch on those wheels and a sensible bit of lowering and that'll be proper smart.

The colour of the car is lovely, like a battleship grey but glossy?! You should just spray the entire car in that colour or even get some matt roll-on paint such as Nato green or Desert tan.....
