Rare 3 door Golf TDI mk3 lowered etc

Featured Replies

I'm regretfully selling my 1995 Golf TDI, its in excellent condition. Its always been well serviced, mostly by a well respected local garage. Its done 110k miles, had a cambelt/tensioner change at 103k and a full service inc fuel filter. The car isn't standard. Its lowered on PI springs with gmax shocks and front lowering caps (rides very smooth for the drop!) , I've uprated the front brakes from solid to vented discs/pads off a mk2 gti 16v, the interior was replaced with a mk3 gti interior which is in good condition apart from usual wear on the drivers bolster. The car is also fitted with gti smoked headlamps and genuine vw gti rear clusters. The car drives faultlessly and has served me great while I've owned it, it recently returned 690 miles to a tank of diesel (big run to Birmingham and the rest round town)

The MOT is up in September so I will get a fresh mot done for the buyer (i'm very confident it'll fly through. The tax runs until the end of April next year! I have the original suspension and interior which will be included in the sale. Genuine reason for sale, I have a gorgeous mk2 16v sat in my garage that never gets used, so one has to go and thats the tdi!

There are a few small blebs coming through on the paint, one from a small chip on the osr wheelarch and one on the n/s/f front wing, but the car is 13years old. Some paint on the nsf corner of the front bumper has cracked from where some one reversed into it and drove off but its a cheap job at a bodyshop as its only paint damage! You'l be able to see from the pics that the car is in excellent condition all round for its age, its been autoglym'd and it the shine is stunning! The pictures speak for themselves! Please not the bbs wheels are not included in the price and are not on the car due to needing a couple of tyres, but could be available seperately! The car is on the 14'' black steelies with 4 very good tyres!

A genuine regretted sale!

I'm after £1300ovno

The only spots of rust are a small one on the drivers side rear arch ( a stonechip that has blistered slightly), which can be seen on the pics. And the other bit is at the very bottom of the passenger front wing, but again its a very small bit that could be sorted easily!

The engine is a boggo standard 90bhp tdi, lovely to drive with plenty of torque low down making for economical driving!

Its a regretted sale but need to give my poor old mk2 16v some love! This car has always been well serviced and cared for and you can tell when driving it, everything is nice and tight, no rattles etc! Someone buy it before i change my mind! :-)

This may be back up for sale soon, i'm interested in a tidy caddy or T4, rather a T4 though! so may p/x with cash either way depending on age and condition!

Just passed its MOT today and it doesn't run out until Sept 30th 2009, just had a lube service too!

what are those bbs wheels off?

I thought the TDi came with ventilated discs as standard, I remember my P reg one had the same front discs as my brothers MKIII GTI and they were bigger than my old MKII....?

rare?

3 door TDIs are pretty rare, yeah.

i got a 3door tdi :-D

and i want these bbs alloys

The bbs's were bought of the bay a while back!

Mk3 tdi's come with 256mm solid discs as standard, mk3 gti's were 5stud so cant be the same discs as tdi's, as they are 4 stud, yours maybe had Golf mk2 g60 front brakes????

Its a really reluctant sale as it took me ages to find a really good tdi mk3, especially in 3door, but with me doing a lot more biking and racing a van makes sense, however if no one buys, i'l have to keep it lol!

are they 15" or 16"

16s!

manual or auto?????

there bbs rx's they either came off a vauxhall calibra, or they are off the shelf ones.. which are better as the bore size will be correct.
