After goig downhill on overrun it cuts out when cluth is depressed. Pull in and spin it over and itl fire and then idle correctly. just seems to be when doing down a hill, any ideas?

could simply be lack of fuel, all runs away from pick up point as you go downhill maybe just a little guess, I've had misfires down hill when low on petrol but never cut out,
