Its MOT time in about 3wks for my lil polo, and its the 1st MOT I've ever done one...I've jus changed all wheel bearings (what an arse that was), and just had a service too... reason for post is ...what kind of things do polo 1.4 8v 6ns generally fail on or what should i be checking b4 i send it in??

I know its a broad subject bcos all cars are different and are driven differently but are there any common things to check???

most i can think of would be stuff like brake pipes and wishbone bushes? maybe the odd bulb out. whenever we have mk4's in our place they normally dont fail on anything except the odd tyre being bald or something. good luck let us know how it does
