Hi i was just wondering if anybody could help me, I was wondering if you can actually put 17' Alloys on my 1999 6n polo could somebody please help me.

You can if the stud pattern is 4x100pcd and if your car is standard height or only lowered by 30-40 mil.

Personally I wouldn't though, 15" is big enough for the 6n maybe 16" with the right tyres but 17" is just too big for the car IMO. But it will be different from the usual 14" and slammed the everyone does

it depends on the width of the wheel. I'vegot 17x 7.5 J on, although I've had to do the following:

Remove all the inner plastic guards front and rear, fit slim coilovers so the struts dont catch. and put 20 mm spacers on the front. I get scrubbage on the front when on full lock and the rear when fully loaded.

To be honest, you'll need major body work if you want them to fit properly, and despit the fact that I have no space between the tyre and the metal, it still looks normal ride hight.

I my self am now putting 16's on.
