i've got a few bits and bobs kicking about if anybody is interested, had a change of plans with the project so i'm gonna flog off some bits

1x 1600 aee cylinder head all complete with cam etc, taken from a perfect running engine - SOLD

1x 1600 aee cylinder head, mildly ported, uprated schirick valve springs, 3 angle valve seats, new valve guides... only done about 100 miles since fitting

1x piper 'ultimate road' 280 camshaft with hydraulic lifters, only done about 100 miles since fitting

1x DCOE manifold for polo 6n (aee) with fuel rail, pressure regulator and 250cc injectors

plus i've got loads of other bits like standard exhaust and intake manifolds, throttle body, sensors etc etc form aee engines kicking about...... ASK, i may have what you need - INTAKE & EXHUAST manifolds SOLD, THROTTLE BoDY sold

How much for the mildly ported head and the cam?

Does the cam fit the head without modification? Is it quite lumpy on this engine?

Just looked at the Piper spread sheets, I carnt find the 280 cam but the 268 gives a estimated 12bhp what will another 12 degress give in bhp do you think? And where did it put the power?

with regards to the cam i will check up on this to make sure i haven't made a mistake, and yes it does fit the head without modification

Piper VPHBP285H 'ultimate road' cam, 268 degrees duration, 108 degrees lobe centre angle, 10.87mm lift

how much then mate?

£100 posted for the cam, i'll send it with the hydraulic lifters too, i'll number them so you know which one goes in which place...

i've had a lot of interest in this via pm's etc so to make it fairer i'll put all the names in a hat
