BBS E76 8x13 magnesium

Featured Replies

With great regret i'm listing these for sale. These rims are incredibly rare, not just the style but in these fitments, much harder to find than E30's.

Sizes are 8x13 front and rear ET28 front ET17 rear. Centre bore is 57.1. 4x100

Tyres are Yokohama 175/50/13 and 2 brand new Fulda 175/50/13.

They were made for a mk1 golf race car for use in the youngtimer series in Germany.

Wheels are superlight with magnesium centres. Condition is very, very good, the centres are almost perfect and not pitted as they usually are. Silver is original BBS and supplied as an option to the usual gold.

The only downside to the rims is that 2 of the outers have small cracks (see pic). I've run them on the car with no problem other than having to pump the tyres up more often. Outers can be sourced through image or i can source genuine BBS ones for cost.

Wheels are complete with og BBS centre caps.

These are GENUINE BBS NOT fakes which exist. They come with all correct stamps, stickers on the inner rims etc.

Price new was £2000.

Genuine reason for sale, going back to 15's.

£950

Gutted man gutted .. Got some wheels on there way ..

Good luck with the sale they look smart on a Mk2 Loon

Any idea on a cost of new outers from BBS Motorsport?

I priced up some E30's from them and it's well into the 4 figures for a set of 13's. Proper motorsport wheels, these made by BBS Motorsport rather than the after market wheel company...awesome little things I absolutely would love a set.

How are these for fitting tyres, I believe some of their wheels you have to split first depending on whether they are flat base or drop center?

Keep an eye out on German ebay as they seem to have money to burn on rims like this so outers are much easier to source at a reasonable price.

No doubt BBS will bend you over and give you deep double penetration.

Not 100% on the prices for the 2 outers yet - I'm waiting on a price at the moment.

Wheels are drop centre so mounting tyres are no problem - stretching etc. The flat base i.e E30's are a totally different ball game - you have to bolt the rims into the tyres - i had a set before and getting a stretch is virtually impossible.

Rare wheels for sure, I'm open to sensible offers.

I'll await till you ear back on dish prices before thinking harder, keen to go back to 13's in future.

wow there cool, damn rare these days :ninja:
