Just wondering if anyone wanted to share pictures of theirs or ones they have seen at shows or just on the net!

Cause i have a polo fox not doing anything and the 'Rat Look' keeps apealing to me as something to do.

Would also be interesting so see what peoples views are on this whether you think is cool or just darn right stoopid!!

rat rods are cool as fuck

its not just air cooled that can pull off the rat look well, its just theres a lot more good examples of them in the air cooled community, i must admit tho, a well used air cooled engine sounds more rat than any h2o lump ever could

a lot of it has to do with the trend in other country's (mainly America) if its not 'in' to do a water cooled rat there then there won't be many around, just the people that are doing it on there own. i say this because its very hard to have a true rat thats still road worthy in this counrty due to the strict mot tests we have compared to the yanks, over there they can stick any old shit on the road , thats why the best rats are yank rats

i'm sure some one will be along soon enough to post some pics of 'the bucket', and the caddy from pvw but i have non of either.

Rat look should be produced over time .. Ie a car left in a field for many a year or saton a beach ofr a cpl of years .. I dont think the whole airbrushed fake rust and tattyness really does it for me .. Especially on new cars ..
