14x6 wheels, what cheap small tire sizes are they?

Featured Replies

I've never bought tires for 14s before so dont know what sizes are available unlike 15s (what I'm used to)

the wheels I'm picking up have massive baloon tires on, i want small looking tires but so far I've only found 195-45-14 toyo proxes for £48 each!!

surely theres a similar small size cheaper, there only 14s!!!!!

14" isn't a common size and thus prices can be a little high. Get the Toyo's it is a quality tyre, prob. the cheapest of the good tyres...you'll be looking at nearly £60 for a Yokohama. I got mine through Camskill and put them on a 14x6J wheel.

185/50 is even more expensive...

195/45 is perfect for a 14 in my opinion.

I've picked these up cheap, gonna paint and polish them, being 14s i want them to look like there on small tires as the cars lowered bout 60/80mm on a 6n2 polo.

in thinking 14x6 with 15mm spacers on the back will give it a bit stance!

looks like il have to hold out and go for 195s then.

thought 14s would have been cheaper, how i was wrong lol

14's are getting more expensive as they are getting less common. £48 isn't a bad price for the Toyo's in that size tbh, I'd snap them up unless you've got any friends in the trade that can get you more of a discount. ;)

165x60s are small, and you can get Goodyear,Dunlop or Bridgestone for less than the Toyos.

Budgets start at circa 30 quid fitted.

Try some part worn places dude.

we sell part worn 14's for £15 each so try your local breakers yard

they generally have well over 5mm of tread too!

part worns it is, trying to keep the budget looooooow.

cheers people!

£48 is cheapy cheap.

I got quoted £68 for 195/45's

Hmmmmm

i got my falken 195/45s for £40 a corner.

they're amazing in wet and dry. do the job nicely :)

failing that 185 55 are pretty readily available. 106gti, vtrs, newer fiestas all use them so they suit the small car pretty well.

I think Lupo standard 14" alloys are 185/55/14.

standard polo 14" is 185 55 too, my grans 6N has them on from the factory

you could try 175 50 14.. i ran these for a while..

last ones i had were budget tyres (cant remember make ) and were 34 quid each to my front door..

155/55/14 ditchfinders £28
