In response to the original post..... whatever/ give a shit? I went to a grammar school and I couldnt care less and apparently I'm intelligent. Most of us live in the real world and have other concerns aside from grammer, or the lack there of, on internet forums.

I'm presuming he cut and paste his little rant on every forum he could find and has probably racked up pages of abuse. Quite impressive really, considereing theres now 6 pages and he's only posted like 3 or 4 times!

Sorry to do a "quinny" on you, but FireFox' spell checker does not check grammar. The point quinny made was about poor grammar not poor spelling.

Dyslexics steriotypicaly spell phoneticaly because they can't visualise how non phonetic words are spelt. They are just as capable as anybody else at learning grammar and punctuation. I know because I am one. I was identified by the dyslexia institute (now Dyslexia action) and attended weekly classes with them for 3 years. I learned how to spell in the way that kids are taught now(by learning all the rules and exceptions of syllable composition) not how they were when I was at school (by memorising the pattern of every single word). But I still have to use a spell & grammar checker.

To be honest, I don't mind dyslexic- style spelling half as much as I mind poor grammar. Firefox does seem to help though, well it makes my posts more legible anyway.
