I've not been here long, so its time everyone knows a bit more about what i do...

Some people will have seen these before on smaller forums. But for those who havnt and dont know me, study automotive design at uni atm, and have been drawing cars for ages now. Used to do a lot of hot rods and crazy euro cars etc, but the most recent ones have been some polo side elevations for polo3.co.uk.

These are all my own work and copyrighted Michael Gillett 2008. (Not to be reproduced elsewhere without permission)

A bosozoku polo breadie, half inspired by PVWs article suggesting its possible future influence on the dub scene, and a mk3 for illustration purposes:

I'm not advertising my services here or anything, coz I'm way too busy to do any illustrations at the moment, what with work, the car and other responsibilities taking up my time atm.

Just thought people might be interested, so ill show them to the wider audience on here...

And bear in mind these are all quick sketches, no longer than 45mins each, including marker drying time. I can, hopefully, achieve a much greater quality when I'm back at uni and have time on my hands again lol.

Any opinions welcome.

They are awesome. go to a few shows and draw a few peoples cars and you will be rolling in it haha.

I did Games Development in college and I loved 3D while I was there, but it soon wound me up way too much and I packed it in not long after leaving to replace it with something more easy-going - dabbling in graphic design -

I made this G40 as the main project of mine, but it was sketchy visually and a monster behind the scenes. I've not got the gift to do cars :p

Mouse put this on his back window at the last polo show. I almost hugged his horn for it.

This all transpired eventually into me doing the yearbook this time round, which was fun and has set me on the course to graphics.

Like most other people I wish I could draw well, no matter how much I try everything ends up looking shit!

yeah they are nice pictures, my only comment would be shame about the wheel sizes positioning, kind of ruins the whole look.

But aside that they are nice

i wish i could still draw, i hung up my pencils and paper ages ago for a computer, would do anything to be able to draw like that!

Danny Lee, which software you use for that, I'm a graphic designer using autodesk inventor, but only on the sheet steel side of things, wish i had the time to do my 'loon on 3d.
