Bored one lunchtime.

That Scirocco is sweet.

I've not been here long, so its time everyone knows a bit more about what i do...

Some people will have seen these before on smaller forums. But for those who havnt and dont know me, study automotive design at uni atm, and have been drawing cars for ages now. Used to do a lot of hot rods and crazy euro cars etc, but the most recent ones have been some polo side elevations for polo3.co.uk.

These are all my own work and copyrighted Michael Gillett 2008. (Not to be reproduced elsewhere without permission)

A bosozoku polo breadie, half inspired by PVWs article suggesting its possible future influence on the dub scene, and a mk3 for illustration purposes:

I'm not advertising my services here or anything, coz I'm way too busy to do any illustrations at the moment, what with work, the car and other responsibilities taking up my time atm.

Just thought people might be interested, so ill show them to the wider audience on here...

And bear in mind these are all quick sketches, no longer than 45mins each, including marker drying time. I can, hopefully, achieve a much greater quality when I'm back at uni and have time on my hands again lol.

Any opinions welcome.

i think you'll find he has the original on his wall somewhere! he sent me a photo and i did it for him as a comission.

I'm studying automotive design at coventry university. Starting third year in september.

they're around £3 each from the art shop in the university.

I'm a sketcher myself, black and white only, mainly lead

I was looking through some of my old sketch books today, thought i`d add one of my VW related doodles (well kinda VW related )

Finally my old polo, been whored out now this pic has but still love it - Done myself in about 15 minutes

I know some 1 with a scanner so once iv done good 1 ill scan 1 so you can see better

Mine was a picture off my phone too, its a lot darker in real life. Its on A3 paper too

The more i look at it the more i hate it ill draw it again lool

+ I used to draw cars for people at school and sell the made a few quid out of it
