Decided after driving a squarebacks for a while, that i prefered coupes, so have gone out and bought a MK3 of a mate of mine who was gonna get rid.

Apparently it needs the gearbox doing, which I've sourced, but after my mechanic had a look at it this morning, turns out it might just be a wheel bearing that was making all the fuss.

.Was pretty minging when i got it. Tired old pin-stripes down the side, interior grubby, paintwork dull etc.

Spent what seemed like ages removing the stripes, t-cutting it back, painted steels , changed front end lights and grill. Rear ones have been smoked, but might see if i can get later factory smoked lights, as i prefer them.

After a set of wellers - deep dish 13"'s, hopefully got those coming shortly!.

Ha ha, these were horid, and turquoise!..and had POLO written in big letters on the rear wing...i like it more now :-D
