1986 mk2 classic 1.05L with VW replacement weber carb.

Mot til 27.3.09. Tax til 03.09. Used as my daily til I found myself a caddy.

Currently fitted with a Porsche 15" steering wheel and 80's Thule roof rack.

Loads of old MoT's back to 1999 when it was on 38000, now on 52000 miles, recently serviced, new fuel pump, C.V. boots, etc. Only thing it will need for next MoT is wheel bearing, as its getting noisy.

4 nearly new 165.65.13 tyres on mk3 steels, just needs the springs chopping to drop it on its arse!

I'll be taking it to Tatton show and hopefully putting it the sale section there.

I sent you a PM but I'm a new member so dont know if i recieve them yet but I am really interested as my mk2 golf has gearbox issues and i need a run around. I can come up this week or if you can garantee you'll be at Tatton and wont sell before then I'll come up to that. I would be interested in the roof rack but not the steering wheel..would £320 cash in hand cover the roof rack. Also if you take to porche wheel off do you have the original still to put back on?
