Clubpolo.co.uk Pays Off :D What You Think...

Featured Replies

After joining clubpolo, Its been such a massive help, talking to various people, and reading loads of different topics.

Since buying my 1.0 L polo for a grand some weeks back, its slowly being transformed to how I want, with my test comming up in september

The transformation has been mainly down to the advice from this website, and I can't be thankful enough!

Yeah I've always LOVED lowered cars, but is that practical?

thats my only concern really

yep, just depends how low you go, you will only start having problems with speedbumps if you are 80mm+ on 6ns

Who told you to put a 'Pioneer' sticker on your car, I'm guessing they started driving in the 90's.....

Have you enquired in to how much to insure the car with all the mods? i dont imagine it will be chea if you haven't even passed your test yet.

i dont think debadging it will put his policy up too much

Do you have to mention ICE on insurance? I thought not.. but I don't have much in mine so not really investigated...

I've never declared anything regarding ice but normally found it was covered in the underwriting upto a certain value anyway

Its like a record stuck on repeat here.

Doesn't matter what the question is, coilovers always seem to come into it somewhere.

insurance is usually covered up to about 250 quid, best checking your policy for details to see how much your covered, and crazy rake stance will be afoot when you deck your boot out with ice.

it looks good tho on mk4s, ask chrispy :)

Think ill leave coilovers...

insurance atm without ice is about 800 quid, but once I've passed , and done pass plus, it should go down a bit

car looks smart

just a heads up though, depending on your policy you may find it goes up when you pass, mine did by a fair amount :( pass plus is a good call

all good all good, then NooooH a pioneer sticker!!!

are you a) trying to tell theives the branding of goods they are about to receive? or b) extremely proud of your local supermarket?

doesn't fit with the minimalist de-clutter theme dude! guessin yr quite young and are into choons n tings, but it's a blemish on an otherwise v.clean & nice 1.0

sorry if i sound like a grumpy old git. it's probably because I am rather old, grumpy & git-ish :-D

Nice car.

ICE shouldnt touch your insurance blue, Direct Line hate modified cars (wont insure them if your under 25 i think), but i still get £1000 worth of ICE cover (TPF&T).
