Tom,

Have you drove a valver, either a 6n or a 6n2 valver?!?

Laura

Yea I've driven a 6n valver 100bhp and it was quick, dont get the 6n2 16v if your trying to be different, GTi's are 'rarer' than them trust me lol how many GTi's do you see on the streets?

Happy birthday too

Depends where in the country you are. I see quite a few 6n2 GTI's on my daily drive but no 6n 16v's.

But aren't the 6n2 100bhp versions pretty rare too?

There my point proven !

I see a fair few GTi on a daily drive not many but I see them, I dont think I have seen a valver near me yet :)

Yeah I do believe that th 6n2 valver with 100bhp are rare to be honest :)

Go for a 6n valver then if you haven't seen one near you.

Drive one at least and floor it past 4k rpm, you will love the noise...I do anyway.

I duno about GTi's not being rare like, I've only seen 4 in my life and I know the owners of all of them hehe

Here's my old GTi, you know you want one :)

Can I ask....why a 6n and not a 6n2? Whats th difference between them?

Oh yeah don't get me wrong....I fooking love them GTi's but like I said before...there are a few around me to start with...in my area the valvers are the rarers.

Nice car though...you still got it?

The engine. Maybe the 6n2 has a similar noise I dunno, never driven one. But the AFH engine in the 6n just sounds so nice once you go past 4k rpm.

Also the 6n is a little lighter than the 6n2 and IMO looks better.

Na Laura, sold it long long ago :]

Yeah the 6n are lighter than the 6n2 i believe but the 6n2 looks nicer inside and outside than the 6n esp in red...which is what I am after :)

How come you know what they sound like if you have never driven one? You been inside one? But yeah don't get me wrong, they do have a nice noise to them though :D:lol:

IMO? Whats this?

:o you're th guy with th mini ain't you? I spoke to you earlier didn't I ?

I don't know what the 6n2 valver sounds like but I know what the AFH sounds like because I have one obviously

IMO = In My Opinion

Get some pics up!

Tuning up a valver and stuff may cost you just as much as a standard GTI - that is if you do the right thing and declare it to your insurance company. Apparently there are less than 300 16v (100 bhp) Mk5's in the UK so 10x rarer than a GTI. Mk5's are rare in general as they only made them over 2 years

Lol oh shit yeah you do, sorry I didnt realised, lol, well I did but forgot, lol.

Yeah I've heard a 6n valver and yeah they are nice but I just presume that a 6n2 would sound the same :s

Oh right ok, I thought it was suma to do with a polo the IMO sorry, I was a little confused, ha.

Get some pics up!

Lol, I haven't got it yet,

That's not what I was meaning... :p

Yeah I know, I think I need to sit down and have a big long hard think about it n see what I really want then work out the cost for everything n then see what I come up with n if there is any way of making it better :)

Yeah I already knew they are very rare n only a few out here, thats another reason to why I want one to be honest, lol.

hiiiiiiiiiiiiii and welcome

Why you say that?

I like mk4s and just think mk5s are a mk4 that have let themself go a little  :-)

And I'm not really a fan of red cars in general

*poor doll is gonna be looking at his avatar thinking what the fook*

Laura [that's my name too] the men here are strange and worse than women... Get used it or let it fly over your head :wink:

Hahaha i dont even own the car in my avatar anymore :-p

And i never liked the colour, bought it knowing i could drive it for a few months (instead of a grandad golf with a pooberg carb) and then sell it when i got the car i wanted and make at least 75% profit, turned out i was wrong though, very nearly doubled what i payed :-D

Scene tax FTW 8-)

Oh and i said in general too :-p some look pretty cool, 2 that come to mind are redquares breadvan and kerrlys coupe daville, which is odd because i dont really like mk3s in general either  squareback even more so :?

I know that, but others may not

Don't tell ginge that ffs

Mk5 fixes all the flaws of the Mk4 :p
