i have a mk3 1.3 NZ (multipoint injection) registered as a 1.3 S.P.I.. with no M.O.T..

it needs a c.v boot, track rod end(possibly) and a cat fitted as it has a fourbranch..

thing is i dont have the time to do this or finish my little project, i really just need a cheap to insure on the road car..

my car has the following..

front upper and G.E.D lower strut braces,

OMP rear upper strut brace..

K+N Filter, SOLD!!!

polished mk4 smooth rocker cover, polished dizzy,

slotmag alloys (custom never made in VW fitment) SOLD!!!

it has been lowered on shocks and springs.. SOLD!!!

smoked front headlights, G40 rears, clear front indicators with smoked sides..

pressed number plates,

F1 carbon fibre custom mirrors,

Fourbranch manifold, de-cat, straight through to custom euro backbox..

momo steering wheel,

CD player,

recent service and brand new fuel tank fitted..

it has plenty of tax but as I'm working alot i cant get round to sorting the M.O.T...

Good points: Lowered 60/60 new top mounts (done about 500 miles), Standard wheels and tyres also comes with g40 bbs ra's with slicks (Could be good for santa pod), gt seats, just had the head gasket done with head skim, water pump cam belt, new clutch release bearing, new track rod ends, vw type 2 front brakes.

Some might remember my GT/G40 rear axle rebuild with new handbrake cables, drums, shoes, springs, powder coated

Bad points: Couple dings on the body work, alittle rust on one wing.

but mate you seriously need to stop modding your cars arent you getting tired of not being able to actually insure any of them and putting serious hard work/cash into the mods?!

any ideas of power output you are getting, and i take it that the carbs are fitted and set up working, because in 1st post it said you were going to b puttin on carbs and possible nitrous

the carbs are on and running but the throttle bracket i made is a little weak so needs strengthening.. and i dont know how bike carbs run on a car engine but on idle they are lumpy.. but I've been told thats how they are.. all the standard injection will go with the car too so it can be switched back if wanted and i have the nitrous kit, just havnt fitted it as its sigle fogger system and i wanted to make it a twin.. would need a few more fiitings or jus fitted as a single..

no idea of power output as i havnt even had it on the road!!

this car is THE sex mate, shame you cant drive round init! How much if you do split r you lookin for the bike carbs and setup pm me back cheers gaz

hi mate i would be taking offers on everything, and I'm prett sure they are 7x13s and have 175/50/13 tyres

what were the wheels off originally? i have a set of ford ones i'd love to fit but dont know how to modify to fit? what would i need to do?

you have to drill the original bolt holes out slightly, and make spigot rings that fit tight in the wheel and then to the hub so the wheel sits centre at all times.. (just a matter of turning some out on a lathe)

i may be braking the car now as i have a few offers on seperate parts..

i believe if u dont ask u dont get, so make offers on things, whats the worst tht could happen!!

thanks mate finally figured out what a spigot rings were had no idea before i'll offer mine up wen i get chance see which i prefere 14" BBS's or 13" slotmags winter/summer wheels maybe or show/running about wheels cheers
