AS the title suggests, just about finished my coupe, wheels are on, engine is in!!

Just a bit of body work and its just about there.

Was wondering what people think of it? Be as honest as you want!!

BTW, the engine bay is tider now!!!!

And more complete, ie. air filter etc!!!

id definatly think ab out investing in some bike carbs down the line, a mate has the same engine in a mk1 golf on carbs and fuck me it sounds immense.

my housemate aint really into carsbut he ran out the house and went what the hells that saf, make your car sound like that

Haha, it really does turn the ehads that one doesnt it Saf. He deserves it as well the ammount of time n effor thats gone in to Chris's golf is silly.

Wheels are a bit too sticky out, but I like the engine alot!

How have you done the wiring? engine mount bolt?

^^thats right, it was done 1st AGES ago...

i really like it, the wheels are spot on, the body looks tidy, the stance is perfect, the engine is inspired... just not sure about the transformer sticker (as much as i love them lol) i'd keep this car clean looking, minus the sticker, i think i have a new fav mk3 8-)

Good effort, looking like a tidy install :thumbsup: . I always thought that engine was wasted in a mk4, so will be good to see some figures when you get on the strip.
