okay, so i ordered 16x7.5 and 16x9 borbet t's and had a phone call today to say that they are out of stock in both uk and germany and there is doubt that they will get them back in (as they may be discontinued)

so here is the dilema.. gary at rimstyle has been looking at alternative wheels for me and emailed me some pictures of modernlines and keskin KT1's. at first i thought great i'll go for the modern lines hands down... but when i saw the pictures i realised that on the 5 stud model there is no dish, and tbh that is my main reason for getting new wheels.

okay so the pictures gary sent me:

so naturally i would go for the keskins but there is something i find odd about them, i don't know what....

i like the modernlines but they have no dish (one piece not 3 piece)

I like this Keskin ones, but i would get plain centre caps for them.. or even get the middle part sprayed black

thats just my personal choice though!

yeah if i was to choose the keskins i would definatly change the centre caps

i forgot to mention

the modern lines are 7.5 on the front and 9 on the rear which is what i was after with the borbets

and the keskins are 8 all round (can't remember whether or not he said these were even available in 16 :S

Try photoshoping on both wheels and see which you prefer? or post a pic of your car from the side and some-one feeling generous might help out?

just got another email from gary saying that he can also offer me 15" modernlines for the dish but they are et10 so they will sit really wide

the modern line's without dish are just pure class

for some reason without the dish they just 'work' and if it was my money there would be a set of modern lines currently on the way to me without a doubt

when you get them could you not paint your own lair of laquer over the top too to make them last a bit longer?

by the way a 195/45/16 on a 7.5j rim wheel will give you hardly any stretch, just so you know mate

Glad to be of service. The 9's will be phat, would have had them myself but I wanted to avoid body work.

It's up to you of course, but I went for the 195/40's...

Make sure you take pictures when they're sorted.
