Would this fit a GT?

  • Author

it was set up for a GT and i put them on my NZ which has the same head so yes they should do. and the airbox is a tight fit around the servo but it fits fine.. :)..

If you split the car...

What exhaust is on it? Raceland 4 branch? Custom back? Might be interested depending on price..

£300?

bump £300.

This is sooo tempting. I'm considering forgetting about my mk2 GT conversion, and using these. How much work is it to fit them this setup into a mk2? I'll be using the GT engine and just removing all the fuel injection system.

its actually quite easy to get them in, jus basic stuff. easier than a gt conversion by far, main trouble is setting the carbs up, but the info and garages are out there that can do it, i jus cant get to them as i dont have insurance or mot.. and aslong as they are fitted right there shold be no problems..

cheers

So would i need to source anything else to fit these?

not at all mate, , maybe change the jets in carbs to smaller ones but thats it, even has the custom airbox and filter which people struggle with.

nothing at all mate, its got fuel regulators in there, fuel pressure check guage, fuel hose, carbs, throttle, choke with handle for inside, inlet manifold with joining rubbers.. and it even has the custom airbox, elbow and filter.. which alot of people have trouble doing.. and all the electrics and ignition loom 8-)

i seriously wan this set up but i don't get my gt for another week or so when i get it i will assess the finantial situation and if i've got the cash i will be buyin. where abouts are you mate??

swansea south wales according to his info
