I went to thruxton go karting today........What a laugh,. my fastest speed was 61.9mph!!

You use proper bizz go karts with side barriers fitted that have 390cc engines which seem really quick. Indoor circuits suck arse compared to this place!!

During the practise it was raining so proper sideways action was in order, the track was drying out during the heats so traction was good in some places and not in others and the final the tarmac was completly dry meaning quick times were posted

Would recommend thruxton to anyone as it is such a laugh, my sister even enjoyed it and she was shatting herself before we set off

sounds pretty ace that does m8, what kind of price is it? trying 2 get my m8s going 4 the day that sounds like it would fit the bill nicely.

Love it when its competative and your trying to do the whole 30 min run without running off the line ..

Sounds like good fun, it would be cool if they did this at a track like Donington Park or Oulton Park.

60mph in one of those is awesome.

last time i went was in december at PGI which is near RAF Cranwell, Sleaford. International circuit i do believe. Me and the missus had the track to ourselves which was awesome! That was £15 for 20mins iirc.

The place in leeds is a pretty good circuit, i went with a mate and had a wale of a time - theres a downhill-uphill section under a bridge, with a left hander into a sharp right turn, absolutely brilliant for some sideways action, and its comedy watching the unexperienced drivers spin out too hahaha!

me i couldnt believe how fast they are!!!

i got up to like 94 in one and chickend out lmao, they cane it off the line aswell, feel like they gonna take off lmao, but at high speeds they are glued to the road!!!
