Looks like the remote is for locking and unlocking.

And the little tag will fit in a slot somewhere on the dash to immobilise\unimmobolise.

so its not an alarm?

basically the remote opens and closes the car?

and the 3 stud thing does what?

I'm confused?

nope it dont unlock the car or anything the remote doesnt.

i just dont want it to knacker and then the alarm keep going off every minute.lol

Somewhere on the dash there should be a slot that the three stud keyring should slot into, usually with a LED on it.

yea got that, so i put it in there, then use the remote to lock and unlock?

or to imobilize the car?

If the alarm system is working then you should have to put the keyring in the slot before starting to unimmobilise it. At the moment do you just unlock the car with the key, get in and start it? If so I would say the alarm isn't connected.

yea i just unlock it and start it up.

where would i connect it?

cheers

Depends on where it is fitted in the car.
