That sounds like the police saying "nothing to see here" when you can blatantly see some woman with her leg hanging off under a little fold up tent behind them :paranoid:

PM me all the dtailz yo

You happy now craig?

It was so hectic, things got thrown accross the room, it was like dead mans land.

I said pm the details, not pm me your genitals :badgrin:

I think I'm in favour, though i never posted in the previous one and probably wouldn't in this one (i dont feel I'm missing out with the members forum).

But Walsh needs somewhere to play,Dirt is gonna explode if the place stays 100 percent serious any longer, and there's clearly a call for it.

And if it benefits the rest of the forums (without them being over-trimmed as a result),everyone's a winner.

TBH mikey dude, id probs not post much at all if there was off topic section, i dont really use the off topic sections on the other more meaningfull sites i go on.

Half of the off topic stuff on here is banter about it being off topic

i dont really see the point, will just get filled with junk, uses more bandwidth.

No it wont make a difference to bandwidth, cos everyone just posts the threads the would have posted in off topic in this section instead, so the threads are all still here but are mixed into this section.

I want one. This forum obviously has a lot of people with a lot of common interests, i think an off-topic section would be great!

I like serious, i just don't like grumpy

It's good when a thread goes off into banter and then someone else posts seriously

When you read it all it's funny and you're taking in what you went into read along with a giggle in between

But that's what i like, it's obviously not the same for anyone else but the problem is you're not going to be able to keep everyone happy, especially with what? 18 thousand members, woah man like oh my god

In my point of view if you're getting serious and no de railing allowed a thread about the site having 18k registered members is bullshit because I don't get what you expect from a thread like that but to read 25 people saying the same thing haha or taking the piss?

I'm off topic for the posi but I'm a cont so I wouldn't even listen to me

This is not a dig to whoever started that thread btw, so please don't get all emotional about it on me, I'm just using it as an example

Agreed! very good point!

I have nothing to say on this matter.

Damn.

Interesting.. a lot of mixed opinions on this matter.

Me thinks the democratical approach may be called for on this one... I'm just off to work in a sec so if anyone else would like to start a poll then please be my guest! :)

Yes, Yes bruva, I am with you all the way on this one!!!!

I love the banter on the threads here, but I know there is a limit it can go too, as the forum has to look pro, from anyone surfing about and some people can get a bit pissy, understandable if someone is trying to get some info out of members.

TBH I was all up for hitting the members only section here, as an "Off Topic" area!!! It's quiet enough over there, nowt much happens & it surely would liven up the members area!!! :smirk:

This would serve 2 purposes IMHO. Firstly to get the spirit of the forum back up and on it's feet and secondly to encourage more people to sign up.......after all....more members = more money = a better forum & club??

We used to have one as some of the members that have been here longer will know.

It did not work. People would just post shit. And people who did not a really care about polos would come on to post crap.

And that is not what this site is about.
