how much?

Featured Replies

i paid £25 about 5 year ago, so i would expect to pay £30-35 now.

kwik fit? i wouldnt go there to get my tyre pressure checked, try somewhere like tyre spot or a wheel/tyre place you can trust (if you know one)

kwik fit are a liability, just cos they got tv adverts and fancy overalls- i have been ripped off in the past by them, and (not marking them all the same, but...) plenty times they havnt done a good job for the extra cash.

just my experience anyhow.

Sunday will be the best day. You'll get the dedicated ones in, usually the manager and the top fitter. ie, the ones who aren't still drunk or spaced out. The worst firm I worked for was a car land preparation firm. AA 100 point checks? Leave it out. They had School boys earning a sunday wedge in there. Some of them motors were jank. 150 spend per car when I walked out, I digress. Fast fit is best left alone, as far as technical brain thinking things are concerned. If anyone works in fast fit and can honestly tell me different, then go for it, in an adult kind of way, of course. :-D

Hahahahaha, I get it done for free, oh the joys of your Dad owning a garage :-D

Expect prices varying from £25 to £100 depending on the garage and what mood the garage is in (or how much money they've made that day :-( )

You can try and get it aligned by eye as near as you can but you still need to get it done professionally as even slightly out can make a big difference to the handling, not to mention that damage you could do to tyres (which would wipe out any saving you made by not getting it checked).
