Featured Replies

selling my little project i baught a while ago was abit of a oohh i have money quick i betta spend it.... and i did even though its a great little car and so much fun to drive:)

I'm regretting it now as my insurance is due very soon and some of the money i saved for my insurance went towards this...

its a 1984 mk2 polo coupe s

mars red

80k miles with history

5-speed box

shiney paint comes complete with the arch kit

black with red strip seats passengers and back both mint drivers has a few stains and a rip in the bolster

complete head rebuild,lapped valves,new valve oil seals,inlet and exhaust gaskets,head gasket,thermostat housing gasket,fuel pump gasket e.c.t e.c.t

new plugs

new oil filter and oil

new ht leads

new cambelt

new alernator belt

all the engine painted and detailed aswell as the 5speed box with new g/box oil

nearly new top fill radiator (built in expansion tank)

engine runs and sounds sweet idles perfectly and the auto choke works fine.

with a few more little touches under the bonnet its could be perfect new rocker cover and a little air filter and youre onto a winner:)

paint is very good for its age imo still red lol has a few dents but it is 24years old

comes complete with the coupe s arch and sill kit

over all this is a great little car with a sweet little engine.

bad bits:(

will need the back of he sills welding for a m.o.t and a small section on the n/s rear chassis arm unfortunatly i cannot weld and cannot afford to have it welded and painted as i need to pay of alot of things next month:(

has a hole in the spare wheel well but not a m.o.t failure.also the battery tray has rusted through think they have on every mk2 now lol. no tax or m.o.t so would need to be towed/traillered away from nr33.

hasnt been on the road since march2008 but has been driven to and from work on trade plates

here is some pics they can say 1000 words.
