thank for the offer but i need the car mobile as i work in a mot station and the cars being stored there so it saves pushing it about

the problem with the gt is a mild grinding noise from the dizzy area and when driving it it starts backing off randomly under acceleration have you came across this before??

hmmm, worth popping cap off and arm, and seeing if the plastic peice underneath has worked its way loose, we had this and it came off and wiped the dizzy out, the blades of the dizzy aswell are easily bent, one might be a bit bent and catching?

take it off and rotate it and listen for a slight catching noise, if so just bend it with your fingers!

hope that helps!

cheers tryed that even got a new cap and rotor for it still playing up stumped so i will try another dizzy if i can get one cheap enough

a mk4 mpi one will work just fine, they are much easier to get holf off. I run them on both my gt and g40 with no issues.

an spi one will work as a temp measure but the car will idle a bit rough
