another issue with a seller!!!!

Featured Replies

26th June my cheque was cashed, after a few weeks I got told it was returned to sender, so sent my address again. I've send about 3 pm's - which have been read, they merely asked for an explaination, some communications either way - a bit of common courteousy really. But no reply.

So what now???? - its only £15 but it the principle that boils my p1ss! I mean i've had issues on ED38, but thought this was a decent place to do business.

not a lot anyone on here can do really, could get admin to try and contact him. whats his username? chances are somone on here will know them and be able to give you a reason for it not being sent yet.

Surely though - if he reads his pm's (they are marked as read) then he could reply himself!

name and shame

name and shame

It's a shame really. For all the good sales going on here, there seems to be a good few people with problems.

Like Foxie said though, I'd name and shame if the persons just ignoring the PMs.

I've had similar problems with someone on here, i bought aero wipers MONTHS ago, ok it was only £8 but still its not the cash its the fact of what theyve done, they have replied and said they have sent the wipers.. months on no wipers, asked for a refund which he agreed to and months on.. no money!

certainly makes you think twice now before buying off here!

Someone told me they have a 16v gearbox for sale, paid £100 for it, came to fit it to find out it wasnt out of a 16v at all, and so would not fit

£100 out of pocket, and there isnt jack shit I can do. Lesson learnt the hard way, confirm every last detail guys!

least you got something, i got £15 worth of jack sh1t

yeh you have gotta be carful who you buy from on here, if the item dont turn up then theres pretty much nothing you or admin can do about it. I'm guessing you have his address because you sent him a cheque? could be worth dropping by if hes not to far away.

if i was buying something worth any sum from a forum, i would make them put it on ebay with a set time to start the auction and a buy it now, then i would log on and buy it at the time the auction started.

name and shame, no shame if you got reason :D

Seems to be happening more and more now, a small minority spoiling it for the rest

unfortunatly its the same buying stuff anywhere- ebay, forums, owners clubs- there is always some little pikey gonna rip someone off. You can cover yourself as best possible but end of the day just gotta count on the person being genuine.

I'm not knocking it tho- 99.9% of people are genuine and will do anything they can for you. its just the bad ones we end up talking about

These dirty little scrotes should all be named, shamed and listed in a sticky at the top of the forum page.

Its a shame so many people are out to rip each other off on here. I remember just a few years back you'd get one of these posts once in a blue moon and half the time it was just a communication error.

Now its seems every week or two someone is getting ripped off. But I guess the more trading that goes on the more likely it is for this kind of stuff to happen.

If you get ripped off and the person is no where to be seen its not to bad. You can take it on the chin but when its on a forum where its supposed to be community and they are still using the forum but choosing to ignore you its just rubbing salt in wounds!

that sucks mate, I'm still working on my wheel situation, trying to find the guys address just to write a letter to him but nowhere wants to give it to me because of the data protection act, still £320 out of pocket and still angry about it, ill get through eventually tho ;)

Sad times, am I just nieve enough to think this doesn't happen in the Dub world???

I have made some great friends through buying & selling stuff, manners & common courtesy cost nothing!!!

:-(

so true as above!

who was it that shnaffled you pete? did you say i cant remember?
