Legality isn't a case of oh well it might be a little illegal. It either is or isn't. In this case it isn't and it'll end you up with a fine.

From what I've read in the past on here....

Only on cars that have wrap around front indicators

Cant remember the exact distance, but an indicator beakon has to been see from something like - the angle of 3 foot from the front of the car and 2 foot from the side. Or something along those lines

You could remove them, Weld a plate over the hole smooth it. then get some get some motorbike fairing indicators and mount them in the bumper.

Dont use side repeaters because its illegal to use as a indicators because they only have 5watt bulbs, unlike motorbike fairing indicators which are 23 watts.

I'm with Kieran on this one i think- side ones are optional, but you gotta hove them on the front, even if it just as part of the headlights units

you don't need side repeaters if you can see the fronts flashing when stood one meter out from the rear wheels (if I remember correctly, it's all on the MOT testers handbook website).

It wont pass the MOT without front indicators mate.

and you'll also piss everyone off at mini roundabouts if you want to go right

people coming from straight ahead wont see you indicating right, therefore wont give you right of way an carry on going straight as you start to come right round...hhmmm

Couldnt he like smooth it over then relocate em and hide em in the grill I'm sure I've seen someone do that??

My front right indicator broke and the amount of people that will pull out (admittedly my fault) is amazing, not worth it
