if anyone wants it then just simply take a pic of your car with bonnet closed and then bonnet open at the same angle.

You can do that with one photo using time lapse.

whats time lapse dude?

i think its where you take a pic then run around open/ close the bonnets and get them in time for the next pic and it merges the two? i think, good work either way :p might have a go myself :-D

Its not the proper term and i'm not sure how its done either.

I think all you do is take the pic having the settings so the shutter speed is veeeeery slow allowing you to make the change. However, you'd also see the bonnet feathered in the picture. so you can get rid of that in photoshop. The difference between using 2 pics and a single pic is, you get a better image of the whole bay.

I'm sure some of the photographers could tell us how its actually done.
