mine's a genesis with a GT conversion...

13x7s with a sensible offset will fit without scrubbing no bother on a 60mm drop all round. Push up to 8s and you will prob have to have some work on your arches.

By tallest do you mean the wheels diameter?

If so 13's and 14s are the best sizes for the mk3 polo, 15s often look to big IMO but there are a few exceptions to this.

Unless you have size 12+ feet I doubt you'd find the pedals a struggle...

Lowered 40mm on a PhilJ kit. GT badges removed, only clue that it's a GT is the wheel trims and bumper pinstripes.

Not strictly a GT, but looks and goes like one...
