Heres my GT I once had

For a 1.3 the power is quite something and if theres anything I've learned about a GT is that you must look after them alot more than the spi polos because if you don't the engine will just pop.

Well all be honist 120+mph did help pop the engine wean I first had that GT but I've learnt my lesson now

120+ killed your GT? They love that sort of abuse...on tracks......

Not all gt polos can handel 120+mph as I found out the next morning

Its the only desent pic I've got on my hard drive I've got other pics on cd but with the front end off and random pics of a bent oil filter

do a google search on reviews on polo gts there is very little negative feedback from these great cars.

I'm more a mk2 polo fan as i have had 5 mk2 polos and only 1 mk3 which is a gt squareback.

on the pluss side

cheap to run even if you drive them hard still get around 38 mpg with heavy right foot

cheap parts

easy to work on

very fun to drive

easy to mod and get 90 bhp out of or more if you want

only negative side

not as quick as G40

with good mods...GT can be as fast as a standard G
