Well this weekend we had one of the first events from the rejuvinated Club G40 and it was a cracker. We had a good run through some roads over the peak district. Took in some lovely scenery and some great driving roads. After camping at a brill pub we went onto the VWNW show at Tatton park. Despite it pissing it down all day we made the best of the weather and still managed to have some fun, made all the better being with all the other G's! Was also good to meet some new people and see some of the old faces of course. Nice one to all those involved in organising it. On with pics....

Start of the day as we all met in the Ladybower Inn car park.

Random Guinea Pigs at the side of the road. They obviously lived there and were just loose! Was one of the strangest things to just randomly come across.

Onto the campsite which was in the grounds of a brilliant pub. The beef and stilton pie was top and the award winning pint (or two) washed it down a treat! Was very wet putting the tents up but we managed ok and it eventually stopped.

And the only two pictures I took all day at Tatton! Whoops.

Was wondering if these were going to appear on this forum, good show getting together...most G40's I've ever seen together in the UK I think.

Looks like a good meet. Hopefully this time next year I will have something to run up in!

gutted i couldnt make this! with moving out of home i had to give it a miss. hopefully ill make the g40 rolling road day and this again next year with a bit of luck..looked ace!

yeah one lad came from newcastle and another from south wales who even brought his mrs and kid.

A great weekend was had by all I think. Although yoofs gearbox deciding to lose all it's oil wasn't good - he went home on an AA truck (again!).

this was a mint weekend for me nice to meet some fellow g40
