What the smeg are VW upto at the moment?

How many of you went to the motorshow this year? Seat made a big thing about it, being that it was the launch of the new Ibiza. Bentley had a stand, a very nice stand infact. There was however no Audi, Skoda, Volkswagen, Lamborghini or bugatti.

Bugatti I spose have no need to be there really, everybody knows about their 1 car. Audi however, New TTS, RS6 and releativly unknow A3 cab. 3 realatively big cars for them. Skoda with a brand new Superb, with what has to be the best hatch/boot combo ever! Lamborghini with a Gallardo that is SO big it will keep the company going through the green years. Finally Volkswagen, Passat CC Passat R36, Toureag R50 and of course the Brand New sexy as Scirocco.

So why then is it that if VWG has this many new cars, why not show them all off to the masses at the motorshow. All there main rivals in every class were there show off there new models. Its not like the cars will clash. Would a young family looking to buy a new supermini under 12k really look at the R36 passat over an Ibiza say, or would mr repman worry about an A3 cab over a Passat CC, I think not. They are clever enough to launch this many new cars so far this year yet they arent clever enough to show them off!

I really dont under stand the logic. They a have an awsome line up over the brands, so bloody tell people about them!

VW dont need to go to customers, customers go to VW

They best not pinch that line :doubt::lol:

They weren't at the last one either

Think it's cause they don't make any direct sales from it, or at least not enough to justify exhibiting there

Shame really.

IIRC Mitsubishi weren't there either, but they were at the last show.

The new Golf is plastered all over every magazine rack in the country at the moment.
