Maybe selling my G40..............

Been having a think about this alot recently.

Since its MOT (which it passed with no advisories first time!) i haven't taken it out for a run! And that was nearly 4 weeks ago. Its MOT'd for 12 months and taxed for 6.

Car: Volkswagen Polo G40 Coupé

Year : 1991 J plate

Milage : 140k - still runs well

Colour : Alpine White

Original BBS RA 13x5.5J alloys in very good condition. Some kerbing apparent on them but nothing major. 4 x Firestone 175/60/13's

Standard G40 interior in good condition. No burns or marks - drivers side bolster is a little soft

This car and me have over 4 years of history together - I ran it for 12 month clocking up 30,000 miles as my only car. Its had over £4000 spent on it in 4 years.

Replaced parts:-

Radiator

Dizzy

fuel pumps

rack

supercharger (only on 91K)

intercooler

brake lines

Lambda

thermostat housing

New oil pump

new sump

new gaskets (not head)

loads of other parts too - I've kept most of the receipts for things.

Its had oil changes every 3000 miles (always Syntha silver & VAG filters) - plugs every 10000 miles (always W5DPO's)

The exterior has gone through a few changes over the years, but its now back to full early spec with a LHD lamp to delete the reverse light.

The only real negatives to the car are a few small blemishes in the paint work, a minor mark in the roof, the toothed belt strips sometimes as its a RMP kit - (Spares always in the car!) Every now and then the front struts rattle slightly due to it being an aftermarket kit on it. Has a small hole in the battery tray, but its been patched!

Comes with quite alot of spares!
