i need to do a engine swap in my car and have no drive to do it on

what would the police do if they saw me doing it outside my house on the road as i dont realy have any options

Unless there proper knobs probably nothing.

I've seen a few people do conversions in there front street.

don't see any reason for them to bother you as long as you don't take up all the space, leave oil all over the road and keep the car covered up or something so it doesn't look abandoned.

As long as its still got insurance, tax and MOT, all they can do is be nosey!

Yeah shouldnt be too much of a problem mate, just be curtious to pedestrians, dont leave stuff on the pavement etc and no one will bother you tbh.

My mate done his mk1 jetta g40 conversion by the side of the road and had no problems.
